4. / See the “Animal Health Requirements” section of this book for applicable health regulations for your animal(s).
5. / Animals showing clinical evidence of disease will not be permitted to show and shall be subject to isolation or expulsion, depending upon the nature and seriousness of the disease.
6. / Heifers and bulls will be shown by breed and registration papers must be presented for pure bred classes.
7. / All breeds of cattle will show by age.
8. / Show order will be by class beginning with the lowest numbered class and running consecutively through the classes.
9. / Minimum of three (3) head must represent a breed for 2 years or it will be taken off the show bill. After that you must have (3) head of the breed in Other Registered Breeds for 2 years to re-establish the breed class.
A. / Entry Fee is $10.00 per head.
B. / It is the participant’s responsibility to completely fill out the entry form.
Ownership Date:
Ownership of livestock animals must be accomplished by the date shown. One of the objectives in owning an animal is to learn new skills in animal breeding, feeding, management and health. To accomplish this, the member should secure the animal as early in the year as possible. This is required for exhibition by the 4-H/FFA member. Ownership dates for Breeding Beef is May 1.
1. / Ribbons will be awarded to all participants using the Danish System (blue, red, white).
2. / Breed Grand Champions and Reserve Champions will receive a rosette.
3. / Supreme Champions and Reserve Supreme Champions will receive a rosette and an award.
4. / Grand Champion Cow-Calf will receive a rosette.
5. / Showmanship winners will receive a T-shirt.

Superintendent’s and Judge’s decisions are final.
