PACKAGE DESCRIPTION 2012
This package is a unique and exclusive opportunity to discover the beautiful regions of Ecuador through some of the nicest hotels in the country.
Day1:
Arrival in Quito and stay at Le Parc Hotel and Diner
Day 2: Arrival at the Lodge: the first glance at the Lodge, after climbing a road through the Rainforest, will take your breath away. The view over the endless jungle and the Rio Napo will set the ambiance for your stay.
After Lunch, in the afternoon, relax in our ozone treated rain water swimming pool, or walk 800 meters to visit one of the largest butterfly gardens in Ecuador. The butterfly garden is an ecoproject we built that aims at repopulating the area with an increasing number of butterflies over various species. The native apprentices that work there will be happy to show you how they care to these insects and help you understand every step of its incredible life. You also have the possibility of enjoying a soothing massage next to the fire in our outdoor typical massage room.
Every night of your stay, savor our chef’s fusion cuisine, with perhaps a bottle of his selected wine. Then sip a cocktail in the Lounge or get some rest for tomorrow’s activity.
Day 3 :Jatun Sacha: Take a short ride with your experienced native guide to the entrance of the Jatun Sacha Chichicorumi reserve. Your guide will then take you on a 6 hours walk through the secondary and primary Rainforest and unravel all of its mysteries: medicinal plants, birds, wild animals, amazing insects, colorful frogs and reptiles. Walk through Santa Barbara, an indigenous community set back deep in the jungle. The trek includes a lunch sent with your guide and a canoe trip back to civilization.
For youngsters or elders, we propose you walk in a different, easier hiking location. Also through the secondary and primary Rainforest, your guide will bring you back to the village of Misahualli for lunch.
Day 4 : Rafting day:
You may choose between a class IV, III or II (for families with small children) depending on your desire for wild sensations. This full day of adventure through amazing canyons includes a lunch on the beach.
Day 5:
after a healthy breakfast, get ready for departure to go to Banos. Check out time 10 am.
Arrival at the Samari SPA in Banos and lunch in the Gourmet Restaurant.
At night we offer a tour, by the typical bus called "Chiva" that lasts 2 hours, and we visit the viewpoint of Bella Vista, strategically placed to appreciate the beautiful city of Baños, and to witness the wonderful spectacle of Tungurahua Volcano. Accompanied by a campfire you can delight your taste buds with the typical drink called Canelazo which is truly Ecuador in cup.
Day 6 :
Canyoning: Extreme-Sport in which you descend abseil or rappel down canyons and waterfalls with experienced guides
Massage in the fantastic SPA: A relaxing full body massage accompanied by a refreshing facial. A supremely rich experience.
Day 7:
Depart after breakfast to go to San Angustin de Callo in Lasso.
Lunch upon arrival at the beautiful and historical Inca Hacienda. A light Fishing trip within the premises or a short biking excursion in the afternoon.
Each evening, enjoy the unique ambiance of the salon with the amazing view over the Cotopaxi volcano, before going to the Inca dining room for a gourmet meal.
Day 8 :
Morning Guided Excursion to the Cotopaxi, lunch in the Hacienda and 2 hours Horseback riding in the countryside in the afternoon.
Day 9 :
Visit to a roses farm after breakfast and return to Quito.
