Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, NC - Senior Lead System Engineer on Microsoft and Novell NoS support to various K-12 public education clients, limited supervision, time management and project deadline management, client education including courseware development, knowledge transfer. Large enterprise: 100,000+ user accounts, 75+ remote locations, 5000+ nodes, moderate UNIX integration, Microsoft SMS and IIS integration including web-based applications. Responsible for team of 3-5 engineers and all aspects of deployment including logistics, inventory, staging, imaging, troubleshooting, and ADS management. Position involves documenting ADS infrastructure, adherence to government data security regulations, authoring custom courseware and training client’s technical personnel, and reporting directly to client’s executive management.

City of High Point, NC - Migration project from Windows NTDS directory structure to Windows ADS. Created ADS logical architecture from submitted network diagrams and outlines. Managed and assisted implementation during creation of pristine ADS forest and migration of existing user information. Currently continuing offsite programming contract to City of High Point for database synchronization between Human Resources databases and ADS to automate user creation and maintenance via VB scripting. Medium-sized enterprise: 12+ remote sites, 200+ user accounts, 8 pc servers, moderate Sun Solaris and UNIX integration, MS SMS integration.

United Guarantee, NC – Initial design and implementation of a remote deployment solution utilizing Novell ZENWorks in a mixed NetWare and Windows ADS environment. Deployment included Windows O/S and various applications and focused on NAL for resiliency and consistency. Medium-sized enterprise, 2 WAN sites, 100+ remote users.
