PTIC FAQ: Both tournaments will be played at EdwinJ.PaxtonPark, 841 Berger Road, Paducah, KY 42003. or No rangefinders or electronic measuring devices will be allowed for this tournament. Pace of play will be strictly enforced. The ball will be played down.

Room Reservations/FAQ

Practice Rounds: for those teams that ARE NOT Region 1 teams will have a first comefirst call preference for practice round times. Please call the Paxton Park Pro Shop at 270-442-9514 and let them know you are coming in to play for the PTIC.

Friday’s practice rounds are free for players who walk; cart fees are $13 per player.

On Tournament Day each High School Coach will have a free cart with their name and high school name on the cart plate. Please send all this information to Julie Brazell at the contact information below.the first PAID 15 teams and PAID 6 individuals will be eligible to play. All other teams or individuals not paid will be put on a waiting list. There will be a limited number of spectator carts available during play on Saturday, on a first come first pay basis. Lunch will be provided to each coach and participant. There will also be a limited number of meals for purchase on tournament day.

Saturday Registration: begins at 6:30 Am., at which coaches may pick up their tournament packets. Packets will include: Coaches lanyard, arm band, tee assignments, official score cards, rules sheets, pin placements, pairing sheets, tickets for lunch and tee gifts.

Prizes will be award to the top 2 teams with trophies and medals. Medalist and the top 10 low scores for each day will receive prizes. State points will be awarded.

Again for 2011, we are inviting college coaches to come scout our senior players who wish to play golf at a collegiate level. If you have senior girls/boys who would like to be featured in a “College Scouting Portfolio” – please contact me to email you the survey.

The surveys MUST be in BLUE or BLACK ink, either printed or typed. Numerous copies will be printed and bound for our visiting college coaches. Deadline for submission is Monday August 1, 2011. No Exceptions!

Coaches: if you have a golfer, not a senior with a valid USGA handicap (USGA GHIN number must be supplied) below 9-the college coaches request their information also.
