“SOUP AND SOUL”…Join us tonight for a soup and salad dinner and our second meeting in our faith formation series featuring video by Fr. Mike Schmitz on improving our prayer lives.
FRIDAY, APRIL 7TH – NO Public School Bus or Hot Lunch. The Parent’s Club is providing a Cheese Pizza lunch for the students. If your child cannot eat pizza, they will need to bring a cold lunch.
*NOTE: There will not be a “Maddie’s” bus on Friday afternoon, April 28th. If your student rides this bus, they will need to be picked up in the afternoon.
NEEDED…CANDY FOR EASTER EGG HUNT…Easter Egg Hunt is Saturday, April 15th. The candy needs to be small, single, individually wrapped pieces. A Sign up form for Egg Hunt volunteers is attached. You can email or call the office to add your name to the list; or sign up on the list at the school office.
EASTER FLOWERS…be sure to order your Easter flowers from the Parent’s Club. An order form is attached with a deadline for orders of April 7th.
STATIONS OF THE CROSS…will take place at the church every Wednesday thru April 5th at 2:15 PM. This is for the whole school and is open to anyone that would like to attend.
PRESCHOOL/KINDERGARTEN ROUNDUP…All students who will be incoming preschoolers and kindergarteners during the 2017-2018 school year are invited to join us on April 20th from 9 -10 AM for our roundup activities. Students will take part in classroom projects and see all of the exciting things that next year will bring! Parents of prospective students are invited in from 9-10 to tour the school, have some coffee, and learn all about SPPS! Please pass the invitation along to those you know with children of preschool and kindergarten age!
YEARBOOK INFO….This year we are excited to announce again that you will be able to upload pictures directly to our yearbook program, Lifetouch Online Yearbooks. Uploaded pictures will be considered, but not necessarily guaranteed to be used in the yearbook. Thank you for your understanding. Here is the following link: community.lifetouch.com. The access code is EXLECS. Follow the step online to begin the uploading process. Please upload high quality pictures in a JPEG format and select the best pictures from the particular event. For example, rather than uploading 20 pictures from the pumpkin patch, we are asking for 2-3 pictures. Photos need to be at least 300 dpi to ensure acceptable print quality. In other words, some phones and iPad photos will not work for this program. Also, please make sure to upload pictures to the correct online folder and please add a detailed description of the picture(s) being uploaded. Thanks you!
