Take a look around the complex. I’m proud that over the past year while I was president, we were able to clean up so much of the common areas. Notice that the mailboxes are new, the intercoms have been replaced and are finally in working order, many dead trees and bushes have been removed, mulch has been laid [the first time in many years], sidewalk and paving have been replaced, siding has been remodeled. Further, potholes have been repaired. We have also been able to get rid of some trouble tenants.
We now have an office on the premises. Problems, payments and other issues can get addressed right away and in person. What a difference from the past!
There is still a long to do list in order to make the complex a beautiful and a desirable place to live. If you like what you see so far, please show your support and cast a vote for me.

I own multiple properties in the complex and have a vested interest in seeing our community prosper. As an attorney, member of a local zoning board and Lisle Place board member for two years, I have the qualifications to help the community realize its potential.

I believe that I can serve our community because:
During the past year, I have been working hard to restructure our expenses. By taking a hard look at how we spend our finances, we saved a lot of money by reducing insurance costs, outsourcing the cleaning service, cutting our mailing costs by going electronic. Even with the on-site office, we are still saving money over what we were paying for management company office expenses last year. Without having to raise the assessment, we were able to do all of the improvements that you see around the complex.
If you have a moment come on into the office and say hello. Hopefully, you’ve noticed that since we’ve opened the office in the clubhouse, problems are addressed right away and I am at the office to help owners fix whatever issues pop up.

I’ve been a licensed real estate broker for 15 years and hold a community manager’s license. I understand what makes a condominium complex attractive to new buyers. I also hold a bachelor’s degree in accountancy. I hope to continue to make Lisle Place a wonderful place to live and to keep costs down without sacrificing quality.

I believe that I can serve our community because:
I served on the Board from 2009 to 2012. I joined shortly after the board instituted the special assessment. I joined to help reduce costs of implementing the village’s fire safety requirements. While on the board I was able to reduce the cost of the fire detection and alarm system from the management company’s initial estimates. Also during the installation I was able to monitor the fire alarm installers, which lead the board to avoiding several expensive change orders. I was also able to replicate this success with other aspects of the budget. I know that I can replicate this success again moving forward.

I am a Licensed Professional Engineer registered in Illinois, North Carolina, and South Carolina. I have worked as a Fire Protection Engineer for the past 10 years. I have been the project/construction manager for multimillion dollar design and construction projects. As the project manager, I am responsible for preparing and reviewing the request for proposals and contracts for all sub-contractors. During my previous time on the board these skills allowed me to reduce the association’s costs by applying creative solutions, while ensuring we received the required services.

I have 3 successful years’ experience serving on the Board at Lisle Place (2010-2013). As a board, we successfully worked together to complete many projects that have added value and safety to the community.The many successful projects include repaved drives, replaced roofs, updated laundry facilities, renegotiated contracts with terms favorable to community, and installation fire/smoke alarms throughout the property. I look forward to working to complete our remaining Life Safety projects as well other value-adding projects for the community.

Association Experience: I have been an owner since 2006, and successfully served on the Board from 2010 to 2013. I am very familiar with the day-to-day operations of this community and will work to put us on a track towards long term sustainability.
Professional Experience: As an IT manager, I will bring to the board leadership, communication and analytical skills that continue to make me successful in my career. I will also work to restore our relationship with the Village of Lisle, among others.Finally, I have a passion for doing what is fiscally sound!

I amassociated to Lisle Place Community over the last 5 years. Over these years, I saw significant degradation in how the property is managed. Law suits against the communityare piling up and miss-management and clear signs of conflict of interest is prevailing today.
