1. Antibody Specific Caspase 3 Detection Kits

Cell Technology would like to inform you about the promotion on our Apo

Active Caspase 3 Detection Kits. Catalog #'s FAB200-2 and PAB200-2. Save $20

off the regular price in June 2006.

Key Benefits:

* Highly specific for active human and murine caspase 3. Other assays

require the utilization of peptide based (DEVD) reagents that tend to

cross-react with caspase 7 and other caspases.

* Works with a flow cytometer, flourescence microscope, or 96 well plate

reader.

* Yields both quantitative and qualitative results. Gives a strong positive

signal.

* Can be used in conjunction with other antibodies or stains.

* No need to make cell lysates or run western blots. Cells can be fixed and

analyzed later.

* Works with human, mouse and rat cell lines.

Assay Principle

Cell Technology ’s APO-ACTIVE and APO ACTIVE 3PE CASPASE 3 Kits utilize a rabbit affinity purified polyclonal antibody raised against amino acid 163-175 of murine caspase 3 (9). This neo epitope is present on the p18 subunit of cleaved caspase 3 (9). Cells undergoing apoptosis are fixed and permeablized prior to the addition of the antibody. A secondary FITC / PE labeled goat anti rabbit antibody is used to visualize the bound rabbit anti caspase 3 polyclonal.

HybriProbe Custom Design Kits

for non-radioactive in situ hybridization

In situ hybridization (ISH) is a powerful technique for visualizing

and localizing the expression of specific mRNAs in cells and tissue

sections.

Biognostik has developed a unique technology to design and manufacture

premium quality hybridization probes specific to any target mRNA of

interest. These premium quality HybriProbes are offered as convenient

ready-to-use HybriProbe Custom Design Kits.

Thanks to their sequence design, optimized length and high purity

standard, Hybriprobes feature excellent tissue penetration, high

specificity and low background.

All HybriProbes are designed to work under similar hybridization and

washing conditions. This greatly facilitates parallel detection of

different genes.
