Job Title: Fundraising Officer
Location:WAB, 5 Charles Court, Budbrooke Road, Warwick, CV34 5LZ
Line Manager:(To be agreed)
Salary:Circa £27,000 pro rata, with regular reviews
Hours of Work:18 hours per week. Normally Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm including lunch. Occasional evenings and weekend duties.

Main purpose of job: To co-ordinate, deliver and develop WAB’s fundraising strategy
Main Duties:
To develop and implement WAB’s fundraising strategy which will include:
- Researching and identifying the most beneficial prospects for where the annual fundraising programme should be targeted
- Support the development of appropriate and accurate project budgets in line with full cost recovery principles
- Help to set realistic and achievable targets for income generation and expenditure
- Assist in developing and implementing a trust/foundation programme.
- Support and co-ordinate WAB’s legacy programme
- Recruit, retrain and train an active group of volunteers who are involved in supporting the annual fundraising programme
- Oversee the delivery of the marketing and public relations strategy
- Establish effective links with representatives from local media and publicise fundraising activity or projects to identified target audiences
- Raise awareness of WAB and its work at both local and national level
- Identify potential high value supporters and groups and co-ordinate their contact and involvement with WAB
- Co-ordinate and support WAB street collections and collection tin placements
- Organise events and campaigns as part of community fundraising development, responsible for new and imaginative activities to motivate and involve WAB members, volunteers and new supporters
- Support the implementation of WAB’s individual giving strategy
- Develop corporate fundraising, including employee giving and matched giving from employers
Other Duties:
- Maintain and develop the electronic and manual administration systems and data records of donors, supporters, volunteers and future prospects
- Co-ordinate the development of fundraising resources and materials such as posters, newsletters and leaflets
- Prepare mail-shots and correspondence
- Make risk analyses and balance time-cost ratios to focus effort upon the most appropriate fundraising activities with the highest chance of success
- Report to Board on fundraising activities, income and targets
