Pen & Ink with Oil Rouging Basic Supply List

Once you have made the initial investment with all the tools and supplies to get started.

The “maintenance” spending isn’t bad at all. You will go through a lot of matte spray, but the

paints and medium lasts a long while. If you treat your brushes right and use them

properly they will last a long time too. The pen has a lifetime guarantee from ChartPak so just don’t loose it.

If you don’t want to invest in everything at first....I recommend your first purchase be the pen

and a bottle of ink. Inkings are beautiful on their own and with just a few patterns you can ink

wonderful gifts or pieces to sell.

¨  Tube squeezer (not a chintzy tooth paste type...a good one)

¨  Hard board or plexiglass cut to fit behind canvas sheets to give it a stiff backing while you work.

¨  Turn Table...(flat, large enough across to set your projector or your piece on while you are inking and rouging...it makes life easier!) you can sometimes find them at Home Depot. I use a heavy duty plastic one I found online at jimdandyproducts.com.
