Program Information and Eligibility

The Young Women’s Retreat at the Cenacle Retreat and Conference Center is sponsored by Church Women United, Inc. (CWU). This is meant as a time for young leaders to gather, network, have fun and be re-energized. The weekend will include large and small group time with discussion and reflection. Some of the topics covered will include: getting involved in Church Women United as a young woman, ways to make a difference for women in your part of the country and how to use leadership skills throughout life. There will also be a group outing on Saturday night in Chicago!

Program Start Date: Friday 4:30 pm – July 24, 2015

Program End Date: Sunday 2:00 pm – July 26, 2015

Application for the leadership experience is open to young women between the ages of 18 and 30, who are interested in local/global women’s issues and the ecumenical movement’s involvement.

Applicants will be responsible for travel cost to and from Chicago, one meal (approx. $15), and $75 registration fee. We will cover costs of housing and additional food. We encourage you to seek financial support from your church, CWU Unit and/or regional denominational bodies.
