____1. Coordinates and disseminates testing program information.

____2. Attend Region Service Center-district testing coordinator training(s).

____3. Conduct test administration training sessions for Campus Testing Coordinators on assessment procedures, requirements, and assessment changes for district/campus staff and special program personnel (i.e. Special Education, Bilingual Education) for all mandated tests.

____4. Monitor test administration by observing test sessions, answering questions, and resolving problems.

____5. Prepare public notice to be posted in newspaper regarding Exit Level test administrations.

____6. Prepare proper forms for ordering testing reports for each test administration.

____7. Serve as official district liaison between the Texas Education Agency-Assessment Division, Texas Education Agency-Security Task Force, Austin Operations Center, and Socorro ISD to include campus principals, campus test administrators, and warehouse (receiving/shipping) for all areas of testing administration.

____8. Direct the administration and implementation of policies regarding state mandated assessment standards to align to the state accountability indicators.

____9. Coordinate and supervises state-mandated testing. Responsibilities include ordering secure/nonsecure testing materials, scheduling testing sessions to include out-of-school Exit Level examinees, receiving/storing/disseminating/shipping secure and nonsecure test materials, and reporting/reconciling testing irregularities.

____10. Ensures that National Computer Systems receives precoded data files from Socorro ISD, Information Systems to ensure the district receives precoded answer documents for each campus and test administration.

____11. Oversee Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) coding checks on testing answer documents to link student performance with state accountability measures.

____12. Maintain adequate inventory of secure/nonsecure test materials, schedule distribution and retrieval of secure documents and coordinate shipping of materials.

____13. Coordinate scheduling with district warehouse for dissemination and retrieval of large and overlapping shipments of tests and study guides and coordinate with Socorro ISD warehouse scheduling for packing/shipping all test administrations within a short time frame.

____14. Assist with data reporting for all tests to assist in academic goal setting and accountability efforts.

____15. Develop and maintain library of released tests for campus use.

____16. Develop and maintain library of district and all campus test reports for future reference.

____17. Provides assistance to school personnel in analyzing and interpreting test data.

____18. Represents the district on assigned committees.

____19. Prepares annual written reports for the director regarding results of standardized tests.

____20. Responds to requests regarding testing information.

____21. Provides for own professional growth by attending district inservices, workshops, seminars, conferences, and/or advanced course work at institutions of higher learning.
