Work Experiences & Achievements:

First: Translation & Interpretation:

From August 2007 to date: managing my translation & interpretation agency. Details are at www.malhani.com.

Interpretation: I did many simultaneous/consecutive translations for conferences, workshops and seminars both at local and international level. In fact, I have interpreted so far more than 100 seminars/workshops at local, regional and international level. Some examples of workshops and conferences interpreted can be found in this CV. I also interpreted many for many missions for the World Bank and important radio and newspapers agencies. In addition, I interpreted for many missions of international organizations, TVs Radios and other agencies by escorting experts and providing on the spot interpretation.

Translation: I also translated many international documents and reports for many international organizations and agencies. I'm the fastest accurate translator in Yemen now and can reach in normal day productivity 10 pages and under pressure up to 15 pages! I also translated over 15 laws and regulations of the government.

April 2004 to February 2008: legal translator and conference interpreter at the "EC's Project of Support for Yemen Accession to WTO". Duties translating all official documents and official correspondence with WTO, laws, and other legal documents and communication documents between Yemen government and WTO. I also accompanied Yemen delegation three times to Geneva for provision of interpretation.

2005 to date: providing translation and interpretation services to World Bank under a contract.
