Project Instructions

*2 minute long routine (no more than 30 seconds over to receive full credit, NO ONE may be under time)

*Dance, Pilates, Tae-bo, etc. IT MUST BE ORIGINAL!!!

*Use a variety of high, medium, and low levels (standing, kneeling, sitting, etc.)

*Use your arms AND legs!

*Be enthusiastic!

*2-4 people per group

*3 days of preparation in class – anything else is on your own time

*Pre-approved song options to choose from and sign up for or bring in your own instrumental version of a song to be approved

*A written copy of your routine must be submitted and must follow the format given in class

*All group members will receive the same grade! So choose your group wisely!

**Presentation Day** The show will go on even if a team member is absent!!!!

Written Copy Format

*All team members’ names must be written on the paper. Include which period you have class as well as whether you are even or odd days.

*Each movement of your routine must be written down so that we are able to read and follow along.

*List movements step by step vertically down the paper. This makes it easier to read and follow.

*This rubric MUST be turned in and MUST be in pristine condition (not crumbled, folded, written all over, etc.) or 5 points will automatically be taken off of your grade.

*Only 1 rubric needs to be submitted from the group.

*Although we prefer to have the final copy typed, hand written final copies may be submitted as long as the writing is neat and legible.
