Summary
SEEN IN TEEN
Many changes take place in teenage, both physical and psychological. But most of the teenagers are unaware of these changes. Some are worried, some feel it as a sickness and some might even hate themselves because of their new behaviour.
Specifically in India, where the voice of women is low, girls/women are even treated as 'Untouchables' at the time of menstrual cycles (periods). It’s not exaggeration to say that this kind of discrimination is seen in well developed cities too. If this is the scene in cities.... then the situation in villages and remote areas can be estimated
Through SEEN IN TEEN (SIT) we(members in SIT) conduct some motivational classes through a positive approach to the teenagers and try to make them realise that all the changes are quite normal and general in all teenagers.
One way or other every parent, teacher and every individual who are around the children play a prominent role in developing a child’s personality. But what need to be focused is what is it that’s influencing the child. Neglecting child is the ongoing failure to meet a child's basic needs and isthe most common form of child abuse.A child may be put in danger or not protected from physical or emotional harm.A child who's neglected will often suffer from otherabuseas well. Neglecting the child is dangerous and can cause serious, long-term damage like Health issues and even some times death.Small changes can show impact either directly or indirectly. Everything in the world cannot be changed. But a CHANGE IN MIND can bring a lot of change in the world.
Change is what is required…. Change is nature. Change is natural. SEEN IN TEEN is an attempt to motivate the girl child regarding the changes they see in their teen age.

Goals/Objectives
SEEN IN TEEN goal is to bring a change in the mindset of the girl child. And to make a girl child a protector of herself. A girl to be more confident about her. A girl to be less confused about her health condition and the psychological changes in teen age.
Evaluation
SEEN IN TEEN is for a period of 9 Months (Starting from June to February) as per the academic calendar of the girl child. In the specified period of 9 months SEEN IN TEEN distributes its work plan for the selected areas (mandals).
To start with, SEEN IN TEEN goes to the rural area and identifies schools and children in the schools in the inspecting rural area, speaks to the head of the school or organization for permission to provide a motivational session to kids. The procedure of work is described below in procedures/scope of work.
Why SIT? Why not some other? : Because SIT gives preference to get the problems or troubles teens see in them and make them notified of their health and growth.
What would be the benefit in knowing this? : As said before, many feel disturbed and some feel depressed about their health and new behaviour. Though they know it, due to their immature behaviour they get easily attracted by many negative things and spoil their health/life. Positivity is seen in very less teens. SIT ultimate goal is to make the teen feel confident and think matured (known about the changes) in their life to have an undisturbed future with a positive impact in their lives and even in the society.
Procedures/Scope of Work
SEEN IN TEEN is all about a change in the mind set of the girl in perspective of the period (time) when a child’s Psychology is built. SEEN IN TEEN meets with girl children mostly in the marginalized and backward. SEEN IN TEEN identifies the problems children are facing. It tries to find out the root of the problem and tries to resolve.
SEEN IN TEEN makes a child to think about what they are going through and how they are seeing it.
In this type of situation, SEEN IN TEEN motivates a child to realize what they are going through and identify how they are distracted with sources. And even SEEN IN TEEN tries to motivate the child how they are influenced by the things they see and go through. Like identifying what is to be taken and what is to be ignored.
