Social Studies andUIL -Attention” all students interested in participating in the Social Studies and/or Current Events UIL teams. We will have planning meetings on Tuesday, October 24th in Mrs. Tatum's room - Rm. 108. The morning meeting will be at8:20 amand the afternoon meeting is at4:00 pm- come to whichever works best in your schedule.

RED RIBBON WEEK:

Did you know that 60% of high school seniors don't see regular marijuana use as harmful, but THS is nearly 5 times stronger than it was 20 years ago.

Join us as we raise anti-drug awareness and pledge to be drug free. Today, we dressed like the 80s because "drugs are like totally grody to the max."Tomorrowis superhero day.

Today after school, meet near the front entrance to plant the promise to be drug free. We will be planting red poppy seeds on the front lawn immediately after school.

TO ALL SENIORS

The Free Application for Financial Aid opened on October 1st. Parents can begin filling out the FAFSA with their tax information from 2016. East View will again behosting a Financial Aid or FAFSASaturdayonOctober 28thin Lab 501, from9:00 am to 1:00 pm. A financial aid specialist from ACC will be available to provide updated information about the changes to the FAFSA application as well as assist families in completing the application. This application must be submitted if you are applying for loans, grants or scholarships for college.
