Instruction Sheet for Ordering
The Penobscot County Street Sign Project is pleased to forward the information requested. Those towns that wish to order their road signs through the project are urged to review these instructions and place their order as soon as possible.
The green signs with white lettering will be made double sided (DS) = (lettered each side) unless the order specifically indicates that single side lettering (SS) is desired.
Lettered Signs:*
18” with 6” letters = $11.00
24” with 6” letters = $14.00
30” with 6” letters = $16.00
36” with 6” letters = $18.00 Special Order Signs = Cost depends on size

Lettering of the names of the roads, streets, avenues or routes can be 6” or 4” lettering. The type (i.e. RD., ST., AVE., or RT can be either 6” or 3” and 4” or 2”. Example: MAIN STREET, NEWPORT AVENUE or MAIN ST, NEWPORT AVE, etc.

You will be notified when your order is complete. Completed orders may be picked up at the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office. Please make checks payable to Penobscot County Treasurer – Signs.
