Web Programmer Intern

Involved in the redesign of their existing e-government web solutions. The whole system is template based with an underlying database, which does the content management for the website. The job duties included database design, strong web programming, SQL query and form development. The technologies used were ASP, COM, ASP.NET, VBScript, JavaScript, XML, CSS, and MS SQL Server 2000.

· Extensive programming in ASP, VBScript, JavaScript and XML

· Involved in the optimization of the system removing database bottlenecks.

· Responsible for debugging and remodeling existing modules.

MS Report

The crux of the project was to re-implement the website I created for Manko Windows System’s in order to compare the capabilities and performance of .NET technology with the existing peers. Visual Basic and C# were the programming languages used. Web designing was done using tools like Adobe Photoshop 7.0 and Macromedia Flash MX.

Student Financial Assistance - Kansas State University, Manhattan, KS (Aug 03’ - Dec 03’)

Database Developer and Network Administrator

Develop and manage Student’s Financial System Database. The database maintained financial assistance data for KSU students, for each and every semester arranged into various categories. Also involved interaction with the clients/end-users to solve network issues and expedite the common day-to-day tasks. Some of the tools used were Macromedia Dreamweaver 4.0 and Novell Netware 5.1 administration manager.

· Extensive programming in Visual Basic 6.0 and MS Access 2000.

· Responsible for database design, population and writing SQL queries.
