Northwest Training Network Exhibit A

PRN Healthcare Consultants

This exhibit describes the rules for participation in the PRN HealthCare Consultants Educational Network.

Nature of Agreement that, (facility), wishes to contract with PRN HealthCare Consultants (PRN), for described services, we aknowledge that the services may be provided more efficiantly if those services were shared with area hospitals and EMS through an educational network (Newtork) Entry into this as a Contracted Networking Partner is contingent upon participation in Network as an active network partner.

I.Network Eligability (facility) shall be “eligible to participate “In Network” if;

  1. Each educational offering shall be OPENTO THE (NETWORK) when course participation from area hospitals and EMS is allowed using the (PRN) prescribed credit exchange system using units of Network Education Exchange Units (xPoints are described later in this exhibit) in lei of currency, as each member already contracts with (PRN), with all in agreement that sharing of offerings allows more choices for training for more participants, more frequently with economic use of the smaller more focused training.
  2. Desription of (Network), In general, all PRN contracted hospitals may participate in any (PRN) training, as follows
  1. Priority – First enrollment choice goes to the Host Facility, participants from that facility will fill the course maximim if needed.
  2. Second – enrollment choice goes to those facilities in the network closest to the hosting facility whom directly cooperate on course scheduling, marketing and feedback.
  3. Third – Choice goes to state or nearby interstate PRN network partners
  4. Fourth – Remainder of seats may be marketed to non-network facilities, with xPoints being purchased from the Host Parner at PRN “Retail Price”.
  5. PRN may fill seats unscheduled by the host 30 days prior to the class start date, without reimbursment of the host facility.

II.Hosting– To Host an educational offering (class) the (facility) shall ;

  • provide a list of participants to PRN a minimum of 90 days prior to the (class) date.A minimum of providers – five (5) participants must be announced before the course is confirmed on the PRN calendar.

Under this agreement, the Host (facility) uses contract purchased xPoints (described later in this exhibit), for those 5 participants and will receive one participant extra (or free points) for hosting the class.

These points can be used to send another participant from the (facility) or sold to another networked or non-network facility.

A total for the class shall be 6, unless a list of names is emailed to PRN 90 days before the course, for a greater number of participants with a maximum of 12.

One additional overage point must be applyed to each of the additional 6 participants due to increased cost of instructors, equipment, course fees, cards certificates and consumables.

Textbooks are required by most classes. Textbook purchasing information is included in the Educational Network Handbook and on the (PRN) website Network facilities may purchase textbooks from PRN by using xPoints and / or from vendors. Participants attending a class requiring a textbook will be issued a textbook by PRN and debit xPoints from the sending (facility) for each issued book.

Network Sharing of Classes

EXAMPLE : Large class for ABC Medical Center shared with XYZ Memorial

TNCC Class of 10 participants, agreed to 90 days before the class date,

xPoints

5 participants at 6 points each-30

host facility gets 6 points, (one free) + 6

4 participants will require 6 points each -24

plus, one additional overage point each (4 points) - 4

4 participants came to class without a book, provided by PRN-12

Total xPoint debit used on a TNCC class of 10 participants. -58

Crirical Review – a larger course increases the cost of delivery, for instructors, supplies, equipment, course fees and expendables. Extra xPoints are assessed for courses larger than 6. It While it is an option to have larger classes, Keeping courses to 6 is optimal for all concerned.

V. Who Needs Training? (facility) Network Partners must check their certification / training tracking lists or software for outdating employees at each work scheduling interval.
