HPHOA July 2016 Meeting
Meeting called to order at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Chuck Moore’s home.

Reading of the previous month’s minutes for information.
Treasurer’s Report:
Operating Account balance: $24.179.92
Reserve Account balance: $34,405.71
Receipts from 6/14/16 - 7/12/16:
Daycare rent $1,200.00
Membership Dues $705.00
Total Receipts $1,905.00
Landscaping $1,845.75
Total disbursements $1,845.75
There are currently 3 homeowners who are behind on their dues at least 2 Dues cycles.
To avoid late fees, please pay on time.
We thank John Kessler for reviewing the insurance schedules and financials for the Board.

The Hudson Pointe Neighborhood-Wide Garage Sale: There were approx. 20 homes participating.
Our Movie Night was July 16 on the Basketball Court and it was successful. Families watched “Zootopia” and enjoyed popcorn and juice. Thanks to all that attended!
We are currently in the planning phase of the Family Fun Day on September 3rd.
New Business, cont:
The Halloween Parade is scheduled for October 30th. We still need volunteers to help with preparations. Please contact a board member if you are interested. More info (including time) to come!!
Hudson Pointe HOA Facebook page: We started a Facebook group so that we can share good news and information on Social media! This site will also connect current neighbors and those neighbors who might not have connected in the past. Please search for Hudson Pointe Homeowners Association. Please share this with your neighbors. Your acceptance to the closed group will need approval.
The board wants to remind all residents that lawns should be taken care of. We encourage you to keep your lawn healthy and maintain its appearance.
There have been some Lawn Appearance complaints. Lawn and exterior appearance directly affects our property values and detract from possible sales of homes currently on the market in our neighborhood. In addition, it is a violation of our HOA bylaws.
The Board wants to remind all residents that there is to be “NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES ON HPOA’S TRAILS OR FIELDS”. We have received many complaints of ATV’s, Golf carts and dirt bikes on our fields and in the streets. These vehicles are ruining our property and pose safety concerns to those operating those vehicles and to others.
The Board also wants to remind you that if you are looking to do property modifications and/or exterior home repairs, you need to consult the Architectural Committee for approval.

More Upcoming EVENTS!
9/3 - Family Fun day: 12-4 PM at the Basketball Court. We are planning on having food, refreshments, laser tag, and an inflatable obstacle course. (Rain date is September 4)
10/30 - Halloween Parade: There will be cider, donuts and a child-friendly “Haunted” Trail walk. We need volunteers to help with preparations. Please contact a board member if you are interested. More info (including time) to come!!

Board would also like to remind all association members that when walking their dogs. Dogs should be leashed and owners should pick up after them.
