Shooter Reminders
1. Please recruit a full team of 5 shooters, and provide at least their name, mailing address and shooter class. The top 4 scores from your team members will count towards your team’s total score.
2. Shooter classes are important for proper recognitions at the end of the day. All awards will be individual by shooter class (except for one, highest team score award on Sporting Clays).
3. Teams will shoot 100 rounds of Sporting Clays on 25 stations. Each shooter should have his/her own gun and be familiar with its use. If “Old Betsy” hasn’t been cleaned for awhile, you may want to clean it to avoid jamming on the course.
4. At the end of the shoot the top two teams from each council will participate in a special 5-stand shoot-off. You will want to bring an additional 25-30 shells just in case your team ends up vying for the championship!
5. Notes:
a. Please plan to carpool, as parking is limited.
b. We are expecting a much larger crowd this year, and seating under the pavilion is limited (for lunch). You may wish to bring along a camp chair.
c. Special raffle tickets will be sold at the event. Remind your team members to bring a few extra bucks!
d. Special “side games” will be available throughout the day and at various stations. Let’s make it a fun event!
