Fairy Tale News Broadcast

Your job is to do a news report on a famous Fairy Tale, with all of the following elements:

·  A person who is the News Anchor sitting at a news desk. This person will introduce the story with a few lines and then refer to a reporter in the field ready to interview people from the story. The reporter will then turn the story back over to the News Anchor when it is done, so you have to have some final lines prepared for your audience.

You also need to do the following:

o  Using PowerPoint, design a lead into the story that will be posted by the News Anchor. Your picture will flash up on the TV screen to introduce the story.

o  Everyone must have some kind of costume to help show what part they are playing. No jeans allowed unless required by character.

o  The News Anchor and the Reporter can have note cards to prompt them, but the characters cannot have any cards. They must be ready to answer without any prompting.

YOU CANNOT ADD ANY UNSAVORY ELEMENTS TO ANY OF THE STORIES, SUCH AS REFERENCES TO DRUGS, ALCOHOL, OR SEX. KEEP IT CLEAN!
