FAIRMONT PARK EAST HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION
POOL RULES
These rules are designated for the safety of Fairmont Park East Homeowners, their children and their guests. Please follow them for a safe and enjoyable time at the pool.
1. The lifeguard has full and final authority.
2. Proper identification (pool tags) is required. Children five- (5) and under do not need pool tags. Pool tags should be visible and shown to lifeguard on duty when entering the pool area.
3. Patrons should not talk to the guard unnecessarily while the guard is on the stand.
4. Lifeguards only in the guard room and pump room.
5. No running or excessive horseplay.
6. No balls, Frisbees or throw toys allowed. No hard plastic toys or throw toys (except diving toys) allowed. Toys allowed are up to the lifeguard’s discretion.
7. No loud, abusive or vulgar language.
8. No pets, except seeing eye dogs in pool area.
9. No electrical cords.
10. Battery operated radios at low volume only.
11. No food, drinks or gum in the pool.
12. No smoking or alcohol in pool area.
13. Only children five- (5) and under may use the wading pool.
14. Children under the age of ten- (10) must be accompanied by an adult or guardian (18 years of age and older). Parents are responsible for the supervision of the children at all times. Lifeguards are not responsible for supervision of underage children.
15. Swim suits only.
16. Persons with open sores are not allowed in the pool.
17. There will be a break period of ten- (10) minutes of every hour, each hour the pool is open. Adults (18 and older) may swim continuously at all time with no break period.
18. No diving in shallow water.
19. No floating devices in the diving area.
20. One person using the diving board at all times.
21. Wait until person diving is at the side before the next person dives.
22. Feet must stay in contact with the diving board. No backwards activity off the diving board. Face forward while approaching the end of the board. No rafts, inner tubes, etc. are allowed.
23. Small flotation devices (arm floats, etc.) are allowed with adult supervision in pool.
24. No glass in the pool area.
