In the Mind of Satan

INT. Brenda’s room, Noon
Brenda Bishop, a brown haired, hot teenage girl, about 18 or 19, is sitting at her computer. She is on myspace.com. She is checking her messages, it says 18 new messages on the computer screen. She goes down through the list and reads all of her messages, all from her friends.
She goes back to her home page and she sees that there are six bulletins going down the left side of the page. Some titles are “He loves me!” and “Semester Exam cheat sheet”. Brenda hates to read bulletins, but she sees one that catches her eye, something that she can not resist, a message that says “In the Mind of Satan”, written by “The Devil Himself”.
Brenda
It’s probably just some geek trying to scare everyone on the site.
Brenda opens the bulletin, the message appears, there is a timer up on the right side of the bulletin. It says “30 minutes” She focuses on the bulletin, the message is on the screen, with a white background and black words. She reads:
“Hell is one of the worst places: dark, musty, and hot. If you ever want to come down here, just don’t pray and don’t repost this. If you want to go to heaven… well, too late. You have a half an hour to post this message or you will die. You will see the worst things that you have ever seen, trying to get you down here with us. To us, these are our ‘death angles’. In a half an hour, you will meet your death, and you will be down here with us.”
Brenda backs away from her computer.
Brenda
Freak.
She stands up and picks up the phone, she dials 5-5-5-7-7-8-2. The phone rings. She turns and starts to walk down the stairs.
EXT. Fridge, Noon
Brenda opens the Fridge and reaches In and grabs a diet coke. She turns and looks on the side of the fridge, where the eggs are, is a face smiling at her. The face is grey. It is disturbing to a girl all alone in the house. Brenda drops the phone and closes her eyes. Then she opens them one eye, then the other. There is no face.
Voice (on phone)
Hello? Hello?
Brenda quickly picks up the phone. She puts the phone to her ear.
CUT TO
INT. Living room, Noon
Brenda is sitting on the couch.
Brenda
No, Sammy, listen. I saw a face. Something was in my fridge. I know it.
Sammy (V.O)
A face in your fridge? Hmm. Well, uh, I’ve got a solution to that… DON’T OPEN THE FRIDGE YOU DUMBASS! Ha.
Brenda
Haha, funny. Well, I’ll call you back later. I’m gonna go back upstairs.
Sammy(V.O)
Watch out for the boogeyman. (laughs)
Brenda
Sammy… shut up you bitch.
Sammy (V.O)
Come on, I was kidding.
Brenda
Sammy, it was scary. The freakiest part is, I read a bulletin, minutes before, and it said I’d see scary things till I reposted it.
Sammy (V.O)
I don’t open bulletins.
Brenda
Well, I don’t either, but it was creepy, you should read it and then tell me what happens in the next five minutes. Just to be sure I’m not crazy.
Sammy (V.O)
Then get your big ass back upstairs and repost that bastard!
Brenda
Nope, I don’t do the chain letter thing.
Sammy(V.O)
Well, Don’t say I didn’t warn you. Oh, Sammy, one more thing.
Brenda
Yeah?
Sammy (V.O) [Deep Evil Voice]
I hope you rot in hell!
Brenda
Sammy?
Brenda takes the cell phone away from her ear, blood starts to come out of the phone. She screams and throws the phone against the wall. Then a bloody hand reaches out of the carpet. The carpet starts to rip. Brenda turns and starts to run for the stairs.
INT. Brenda’s Room, Noon
She runs into her room and shuts and locks the door. She looks at her computer, or what was once her computer, which is a puddle of melted plastic and glass on the floor, is melting a hole into the floor. She runs over to the melted computer and looks down into the hole. A QUICK SLIMY TAIL slithers across the living room floor.
Brenda backs up. She turns to the door because of a sizzling sound she hears. The door is melting, the wooden door is melting! She backs up and turns around to open a window, the glass is melting also. She looks outside and sees that there is an ocean of lava, and she is in the middle of it.
Brenda
Please help! Somebody please help me!
She backs up, forgetting about the hole in the middle of her floor. She falls into the hole, down into the living room.
INT. Living Room, Noon
Brenda falls onto the couch. She quickly gets up, remembering that there are creatures downstairs. She turns and looks at the walls, they turn a bright whitish color, and then the walls start to bleed. Brenda backs up, there is a screaming sound coming from the Walls. She turns around and sees that the fridge is open and she sees a person coming out of the Fridge. He stands up and smiles at her. His teeth are black and he has a pentagram on his forehead. His eyes turn white and he sticks his hand in front of him and screams.
Brenda covers her ears and starts to cry. She turns around and a claw slashes at her chest. She flies back onto the couch. She looks up and sees that a hideous creature from hell with eight eyes and seven heads, with a spiky tail, is standing over her. Each head screams at a high pitched noise.
INT. Staircase, Noon
Brenda runs over to the stairs and starts to run up the stairs. But she stops, she looks at her feet, they are melting into the floor! The stairs are now mud. She tries to crawl up. But behind her, comes the Creature. She turns around and sees that it’s coming. She also sees that the floor is giving away, and that it leads to an endless pit. She screams and starts to try to crawl up out of the sinking stairs.
The Creature runs up to her and claws at her leg, but right at the last second, she pulls her leg out of the way before it slashes her.
INT. Hallway, Noon
She gets to the top step and sees that the hallway is longer than it has ever been before. It is about two football fields long. But she starts to run towards her room and the hallway gets shorter. She turns to her room and runs in.
INT. Brenda’s Room, Noon
Brenda looks that about twenty feet in front of her, is a bloody corpse of Sammy, her eyes are white and she is making a disturbing gargling sound. Brenda stares at Sammy for quite a while. Then she snaps out of it.
Sammy (Satanic voice)
You should posted the message! You’re going to die.
Brenda (crying)
How could I have posted the message when you melted my computer?
Suddenly, A computer appears behind her, the screen is on, and it says TEN SECONDS LEFT. Brenda highlights everything on the post. EIGHT SECONDS LEFT. She clicks “Post New Bulletin”. SIX SECONDS LEFT. Brenda right clicks and pastes the message on a blank post. FOUR SECONDS LEFT. Brenda Clicks “Post New Bulletin, the screen loads. ONE SECOND LEFT. ZERO SECONDS LEFT
Satan
Too late! Welcome to hell, Brenda!
Brenda backs up against the wall, and arms reach out of the muddy wall and grab her. They pull her into the sinking wall. Brenda screams as loud as she can. No one can hear her. She gets pulled in the whole way.
FADE OUT
INT. Living Room, Noon
TWENTY SECONDS LATER
Her Mother, A single mother, comes walking in the door. She puts her coat on the Couch. Everything seems back to normal. Her mom looks around the house.
Mom
Brenda? Brenda? Hey, your brother will be home early tonight, so I need you to watch him.
SILENCE
Mom
Brenda?
INT. Brenda’s Room, Noon
Brenda’s mom walks in the door, and looks around. She seems like the snooping type of mother. She walks up to the computer and looks at the screen, she sits down in Brenda’s Chair and starts to read “In the Mind of Satan”.
