HRD Term Project
This project work is designed to give you a hands-on experience of undertaking a human resource development exercise. You are required to select a subject area/topic and apply the principles of HRD in a real organizational setting. You must use the relevant theoretical frameworks and tools as well as strategies covered in class. You would be required to visit the organization in the course of completing this project.
- Each participant is required to write and submit a term paper of maximum 1500 words. The term project is a major component of participants’ assessment plan and carries 20 percent weightage.
- This project work is a researched work on a specified topic assigned by the course faculty from the HRD course.
- In the project work the participant should demonstrate his/her:
- In-depth understanding of relevant and latest conceptual aspects of the topic;
- Familiarization with the latest research work on the subject;
- Ability to analyze the issue from theoretical and practical perspectives;
- Ability to relate to the current practices in Nepali organizations and
- Ability to organize, express and present information in a professional manner
- The project work should consist of three parts:
- A comprehensive review of the key and the latest theoretical aspect of the topic in the literature with major conclusions;
- A case study of current practices in a Nepali organization, or a survey of the function related to the topic; and
- A set of recommendations for the improvement of practices of the function in Nepali organization (based on the review of theories and analysis of the practices)
- While working of the project work, the participant should extensively use published or online references and list them in the report.
