Thank you for coming everyone. I’d like to talk to you today about the latest sales figures for April this year compared with April last year.
Well, there are lots of factors. As you can see from the chart, there are big differences between the different brands and the different models.
First of all, I’d like to show you the figures for Volkswagen. If you look at the figures for the Beetle, you’ll see that sales went up from 85 to 102, so they rose by 20%. That’s quite impressive. As you know, it doesn’t copy the design trends verbatim and that’s why the Beetle is very popular, and these are its best sales figures ever. The other Volkswagen models were OK, but sales of the Golf GTI fell by about 10%.They went down from 90 to 81 this year.
The next one I’d like to show you the figures for BMW. If you look at the figures for the 4 Series Convertible, you’re see the sales went up from 75 to 90, they rose by 20%. Its appearance looks more beautiful than Z4, so they rose by 20%. Z4 fell to 45%. They fell sharply from 90 to 45 this year. What a stunning number it is!
Now let’s take a look at the figures for Toyota. The Yaris went up from 60 to 75, they rose by 25%. But the Vios figures are not so good. It fell from 40% to 36% this year.
