During pool play, silver division, bronze division, and copper division of playoffs, teams assigned to ref must provide an R1, R2, line judges, and scorekeepers for their court. During playoffs, R1 will be provided in the gold division. ABSOLUTELY NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES ARE ALLOWED AT THE SCORER’S TABLE, stop watches will be available for timeouts– COACHES IT IS YOUR JOB TO MONITOR YOUR TEAM!

Each team is guaranteed 4 matches. Best 2 out of 3 games to 25 (no cap) with 3rd game to 15 (no cap) if necessary.

Warm up – first 2 rounds 2 minutes shared court, 4 minutes serving team followed by 4 minutes receiving team. Subsequent rounds 3 minutes per team.

After each game, teams are responsible for cleaning up their bench before the next game begins. Coaches please remind your players of this. Garbage cans will be available by the benches.

The 1st place team from each pool will advance to the Gold Division, 2nd place team from each pool will advance to the Silver Division, 3rd place team from each pool will advance to the Bronze Division, and 4th place team will advance to the Copper Division.

Tie breaking procedure – Protocol #1: For two-way ties, the #1 team will be the team that won the pool play match between the two tied teams. All other ties will be determined first by match % (matches won divided by matches played), set % (sets won divided by sets played), then total point differential (total # of points won subtracted from total # of points lost), then finally a coin toss.

Due to the number of teams participating, absolutely no bags will be allowed in the gyms or cafeteria. All teams will be assigned a team bag area. Valuables should be left with parents. MVP Club and Marathon High School are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

This is a fundraiser, so absolutely NO CARRY-INS will be allowed. This will be enforced and teams will be fined for non-compliance.

Admission fee – Adults $4, students $2, senior citizens and 5 and under free. Please use the main doors as these will be the only ones open. There are 2 school parking lots available, one is across the street from the main entrance and the other is behind the school.

Ice is available. No trainer is on site.

Medals will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place teams in the Gold Division and 1st place of the Silver Division.
