PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT DISCOUNT APPLICATION

RMGPA will apply a $200 ‘discount’ to any NIGP course for applicants who meet the following requirements.

1)Applicantshall be a new member of RMGPA, with membership application completed within 12 months of request for this discount.Agency membership shall not suffice; individual RMGPA membership must be paid

2)Discount shall be used to offset the cost of a RMGPA-sponsored NIGP professional development course.

3)Applications must be submitted a minimum of forty-five (45) days prior to the course or conference.

4)Only one discount per new member shall be granted.

Discount recipients will be required to successfully complete the course. If the course is not successfully completed, the recipient will be required to reimburse RMGPA for 100% of the awarded funds.

Appeals must be submitted to and received by the Education/Professional Development Committee Chairperson within fourteen (14) days of the date indicated on the denial letter. Appeals will be presented by the Chairperson (or committee member) to the RMGPA Board of Directors for decision. Decisions by the Board are considered final.
