Re: Administration Assistant – Helping Hand at Home – Temporary until End of March 2018

Thank you for your interest in working for Age UK Coventry. We are a lively and growing local charity, aiming to promote and enhance the wellbeing and quality of life of all older people in Coventry, to help make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.

Helping Hand at Home Service aims to support older people to stay in their own home and maintain their independence by providing assistance with those tasks that they are unable to do alone. The Service provides help with a wide variety of tasks, for example, cleaning, shopping for or with the client and escorting to medical appointments.

You will be required to work 20 hours per week. Office hours are Monday to Friday 9.00 to 4.30 You will be required to work Monday, Wednesday & Thursday. Thursday will be a 4.30 finish time. (hours to be agreed within these times with a ½ hour unpaid lunch break). There is a requirement for you to be flexible in the hours and the times you are asked to work.

The Helping Hand at Home Service is not based in the main Age UK Coventry Office but shares a pleasant office space with other services in an accessible central location. This office is not open to members of the public.
