Parents and Players
We have finished tryouts this week and evaluated players
Players have been placed on either Varsity, JV Navy or JV Red squads. There can be movement of players as the season progresses due to grades, illness, injuries etc. I have contacted counselors at Lowery to move a number of players to 2nd period soccer at the High school starting January
On Mon Dec 7th: 8am official 15 week grades come out. We will monitor them and players need to pass all classes in order to be eligible for soccer in January
Practices after school: Both JV teams on Mon Dec 7th 3:45-5:15 .
Varsity Tues Dec 8th 3:45-5pm
Tues Dec 8th: Uniforms given out to JV Red and Navy teams. Varsity already received their uniforms. Performance Course 6-7:15am
Wed Dec 9th: Kick Off party at the High school cafeteria 6-7pm. No after school practice
Thurs Dec 10th: After school practices for all 3 teams at Lowery 3:45-5pmPerformance Course 6-7:15am
Fri Dec 11th. No practice after school
Mon Dec 14th: Practice in class. (Performance Course has early morning practice in indoor facility 6-7:15am). No practice after school
Tues Dec 15th. Practice in class. No practice after school
Wed Dec 16th Exams 8;15-12:25am. Photo day in indoor facility 1-2:30pm. I will bus players over from Lowery at 12:35pm
Thurs Dec 17th Exams 8;15-12:25am Performance course at Lowery weight room 1-2:15pm. Anyone else can work out in weight room too
Fri Dec 18th1st period party in Portable 4 Lowery No after school practice Happy Holidays
No practices Dec 21-25th: Performance course has Dec 21 and Dec 22 8-9:15am
Optional practices: all 3 teams
Mon Dec 28, Tues Dec 29th and Wed Dec 30th: Indoor facility 9-10:20am
Performance Course has final workouts on Mon and Tues 7:30-8:45am. Other players have option of coming in and doing weights at that time too.
Scrimmages:
Sat Jan 2nd Varsity and JV v Frisco Heritage 3pm and 4:30pm at Lowery (note change of time). Another JV team goes to Sherman for 4pm game. We will determine which JV teams goes where due to strength of their JVs.
Mon Jan 4th: all 3 teams going to Coppell for scrimmages 4:30pm Red: 5;45pm Navy; 7:15pm Varsity
Thurs Jan 7-Sat Jan 9th Wylie tournaments all 3 teams
