EX PARTE STATUS QUO ORDER REGARDINGPAYMENT OF MARITAL EXPENSES

Upon the reading and filing of the Complaint for Divorce, and it appearing to this Court that it is in the best interests of the parties to maintain the financial status quo as it existed at the time of the filing of this action, and the court being fully advised in the premises;

IT IS ORDERED:

The parties shall maintain the financial status quo as it existed at the time of the filing of this action. Specifically, Defendant shall continue to deposit his paychecks into the joint bank account of the parties. Plaintiff shall pay the customary and necessary expenses of the parties and the minor children of the parties from the parties’ joint bank account. Plaintiff shall provide Defendant with $75 each week for miscellaneous personal expenses.

NOTICE TO DEFENDANT

1. You may file a written objection to the order or a motion to modify or rescind the order.

2. The written objection or motion must be filed with the clerk of the court within 14 days after you were served with the order. A true copy of the objection or motion must be served on the Friend of the Court and the party who obtained the order and all other parties.

3. Any party requesting a hearing must also file a request for a hearing within the same time limits and serve on the same parties. If there is a timely objection or a motion and request for a hearing, the hearing must be held within 21 days after the objection or motion and request are filed. Failure to follow the 14- or 21-day time limits will result in a denial of the objection or motion even if a written objection or motion is filed.

4. This Ex Parte Order will remain in effect and must be obeyed unless changed by a later order of the court. Any change that occurs after the hearing on the objection or motion may be made retroactive to the date that this order was entered.
