Dear Tmura Member (and Future Members):

Here are the highlights from the past quarter:

Grant Activity

Tmura paid out the second installment of our grant to Shiur Acher (www.shiuracher.org), as the organization continues to expand its reach, by moving from an “individual school”- based model, to a municipality-based model.

Tmura also made donor-advised grants to:

·  SAHI (www.sahi-israel.org – check out their new website!) – empowering at-risk youth, by focusing on giving to others as a way to bring about social change.

·  Machshava Tova (www.mtova.org.il) – providing underprivileged populations with access to technology in a supportive and empowering environment.

Exit Activity

·  Tmura received $350,000 following exits from Valtech Cardio (acquired by Edwards Lifesciences), Nurego (acquired by GE Digital), and Trendlines (traded on SGX), as well escrow payments from earlier transactions.

·  Mazal tov to the management and investors, and we look forward to putting the proceeds to good use in the community!

About Tmura

Tmura, a foundation with a unique business model, was established in 2002 by leading Israeli venture capital funds to involve the high-tech sector in supporting charitable activities. The model is simple and powerful: early-stage companies give Tmura a warrant, convertible (at exit) into a small portion of their equity. If the company succeeds, Tmura sells its shares and donates the proceeds to charities in Israel; the focus is on education and youth-related activities, and the companies can indicate which organizations they want to support.
