Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence 2016
The Chancellor's Award for Student Excellence acknowledges students who have received recognition for student excellence. It is the highest honor bestowed upon a student by the University.Nominations are sought for students who have best demonstrated and been recognized for their integration of academic excellence with other aspects of their lives including leadership, campus involvement, community service, arts (creative or performing), athletics, and/or career achievement.Last year, 260 students from 64 campuses received this award. In addition to an impressive array of co-curricular accomplishments, the recipients had an overall GPA of 3.8.
Only students (graduate or undergraduate) graduating between June 2015 and May 2016will be considered.All information must be typed on the form; handwritten copies will not be accepted. Only awards received while enrolled at UAlbany are applicable. (Awards from another college or high school should not be included.)Students should have applied for graduation at the time of application and have all degree requirements in order.
