With reference to your Freedom of Information request, please see below the information in response to your queries:
1) The number of Endoscopic Sphincterotomy procedures (cutting the sphincter of oddi) that were carried out = 242
2) The number of the above procedures, that were post Cholecystectomy, i.e, after gall bladder removal.
11 Sphinctomy carried after gall bladder removal during the same spell there were also 14 patients who were previously admitted and had a gall bladder removal,
Therefore in total there were 25 procedures carried out after gall bladder removal.
3) The number of the above procedures that used pancreatic stents. = 15
4) The number of the above procedures in which the patient developed pancreatitis. = 38
5) The number of complications arising from the above procedures, please include the name of each complication in these figures.

6) From the above procedures, the number of 30 day mortalities and 90 day mortalities.
