Botany Bay is a medical company which produces hi-tech medical supplies.Botany Bay’s product,medic-disk which is able to store medical records is decreasing in its marketing share.They will discuss the strategy at the regular meeting to deal with this deteriorating situation.
In the beginning the manager asks about the latest development of their competitors,Mr. White proposes that those companies have a 10% lower price than theirs,then they discuss whether their sales volume will grow as a result if they lower price,otherwise their profit will shrink seriously.In the end they reach a agreement that they strive for a reducing and subcontracting of the production.
SCENE2:(Meeting Mr. Johnson At The Airport)
The participants includes Mr. White and Mr. Johnson.
Last meeting the company put forward a scheme to reduce and subcontract the production, and the company arranged to enlarge the cooperation with the Red-star processing factory. Red-star send Mr.Johnson on mission to confer with Botany Bay on the business.The director who is responsible for the marketing,Mr.White is going to meeting Mr. Johnson from Red-star company at the airport.
This part the director of marketing Mr.White will have a direct contact with the manager of the Red-sar company Mr. Johnson.Mr.White personally proceeds to the airport to receive Mr. Johnson.Both sides just talk about usual topics and Mr. White will inform Mr. Johnson the details about where he will live tonight and when and where to meet his manager for the appoint of these two company.
SCENE3:(Bargain)
The participants includes Mr. Green and Mr. Johnson.
The second day,Mr. Johnson comes to the Mr. Green’s office on schedule.They will discuss the production and the discount between this two companies.Mr. Green wants to keep a relatively low discount and at the same time increase their production,while Mr. Johnson wants to increase the discount in the reason that they can have a bigger order with them.So they will try their best to bargain for more benefit for their own company.
In the last part the representatives of both sides seek for a breakthrough. Mr. Johnson exchanges for a 10% discount with a increased production of 12000 pieces of medic-disk.
