Director of Youth Operations - Job Description
The Director of Youth Operations will be a self directed person reporting to the Executive Director to facilitate the success of DiscNW programs. The Director will focus on youth ultimate and will also involve other projects involving communication, outreach and administration of both youth and adult activities. This assignment requires at least a two year commitment at full time employment with flexible hours and the opportunity to work from home.
Role and Responsibilities
· Administration
· Attend the annual meeting and meetings of the Board of Directors as needed
· Attend committee meetings for fields advocacy, leagues, web team as needed
· Create standard operating procedure documents
· Youth Activities
· Schedule, facilitate, and post minutes for monthly DiscNW Youth Committee meetings
· Recruit, train, and manage youth League Coordinators, Tournament Directors, and Camp Managers
· Manage event registration, schedules, and volunteers
· Organize high school training program schedule and coaches
· Manage DiscNW teams for the UPA Youth Club Championships
· Drive and support growth of youth ultimate
· Outreach
· Recruit and train youth coaches
· Establish relationships with athletic coordinators at schools, colleges, cities, and counties
· Promote girls ultimate
· Coordinate conference presentations
· Promote ultimate to underserved youth populations
· Campaign for an eastside middle school league
· Communication
· Direct and manage all youth ultimate information systems
· Create and update policies, marketing documents, promotional materials, and a youth newsletter
· Activate public relations plan
· Other Projects
· Organize an annual volunteer fair
· Manage special projects as directed by the Executive Director or the Board of Directors

Compensation
§ Starting salary is $30,000 per year with an opportunity for an increase after the first year
§ Reimbursement for conferences, training classes, memberships in the field of athletics or non-profit
