Getting Inside John’s Head – Taking a look at his Gospel.
Why is John’s Gospel so different from the other three? What makes his style so unique? Why does he record so few miracles, and no parables? What is it about Jesus that John is trying to relate? In this course we will study in detail the Gospel of John. We will take a look at these questions – and others – as we seek to understand this very important and unique account of Jesus’ life. Students will become familiar with the Gospel through reading assignments and classroom discussions. Come prepared to be engaged!
