Budget Coordinator

Summary:

Gonzaga Outdoors is looking for a Budget Coordinator to conduct budgeting, spending and reconciling. The job would start in the spring of this year with training and a week before the 2017-2018 school year begins, and then continue through the 2017-2018 school year. The Budget Coordinator works closely with both of the Student Directors as well as Gonzaga Outdoors full time staff in order to develop a comprehensive budget, manage expenses, and create financial plans for the future for Gonzaga Outdoors.

Hours

This position will require between 10-12 hours of work each week.

·  General Understanding of Accounting

·  Organized

·  Strong communication skills among both University staff/faculty and students.

·  History with Microsoft Excel

·  Record All Program Expense

·  Watch budget progress

·  Work with university buyers to purchase needed goods

·  Record Rental Revenue

·  Reimbursement Requests

·  Banner Reconciliation

·  Process Refunds

·  Work with program coordinator on Concur
