For our Marketing and Sales Team in Shanghai, we are looking for one
Application Scientist China (Physics, EE), 100%
In this position you will
∏ perform scientific measurements with customers from leading research laboratories
∏ establish new and maintain existing customer contacts, securing future sales
∏ produce marketing material like website, blogs, application notes, etc
∏ represent Zurich Instruments at major trade shows and visit customers in China
∏ develop new application fields and enhance the leading position in new market
∏ provide customer support remotely and in the field
∏ consolidate the market requirements and provide input to product development
Your profile
Are you a result-oriented, intrinsically motivated person who loves to tackle challenges in a cooperative fashion? Do you feel inspired to work a multi-cultural, high-tech environment? Are you interested in travel for business?
Qualification
∏ Chinese citizen, with Shanghai Hukou or Shanghai residence permit
∏ PhD in Physics or Electrical Engineering. Experiences in photonics or SPM is a big plus
∏ 5+ years working experience including research experience, at least 2 years exposure in multi-national company
∏ solid technical background including digital signal processing and test & measurement instrumentations
∏ electrical measurement experiences in research laboratories
∏ good oral and written communication skills – proficient in English
∏ knowledge in one or more application fields, like Laser Spectroscopy, AFM, or Nano-technologies
∏ experience in programming languages LabVIEW, MATLAB, Python or C
∏ availability to travel, around 25%

应用科学家的工作职责：
∏ 为从事先进技术研发的客户提供科学的测试测量指导和服务
∏ 建立和维护新老客户的联系，为新老客户提供优质的支持和服务
∏ 整理和编撰各种技术文档，譬如网站资料、博客、应用指南、技术论文等
∏ 参加公司的展览会、研讨会、论坛等，拜访国内外的客户
∏ 研究新的产品应用领域，扩大产品的应用市场
∏ 为客户提供远程或现场的专业的技术支持和培训
∏ 研究和总结客户的需求并将客户的需求反馈到技术研发部门

∏ 中国国籍，具有上海户口或者上海居住证
∏ 物理学或电子工程博士
∏ 五年以上工作和科研经验，至少二年外资公司工作经验
∏ 扎实的专业知识，特别是在数字信号处理和测试技术及仪器领域
∏ 熟悉实验室电子测试测量技术及仪器
∏ 掌握英语的读写技能，及基本的英语口语水平,具有熟练的专业英语能力
∏ 熟悉激光光谱、原子力显微镜或者微机械结构相关应用领域的优先
∏ 熟谙软件编程，掌握LabVIEW编程语言，熟悉MATLAB、Python、 C语言
∏ 身体健康
∏ 能够适应经常性出差，约25%
