Each year the churches in the Sandy Creek Baptist Association participate in the RED BOX WOMEN’S PRISON MINISTRY. Every woman in a NC prison gets a Red Box at Christmas which contains toiletries from NC WMU. For most of these women, it is the only gift they get. Our association is collecting 8-11 oz. BODY LOTIONS for the box. The lotion should NOT have a top with a pump on it. If you would like to contribute lotion, please leave it in the small kitchen by Sunday, October 18. Thank you.

You Have Got to Go to a New Place
Genesis 12:1-9
INTRODUCTION
Today we begin the last section in our life-changing study. For the next several weeks we will examine life-changing encounters as we ask God to continue to change our lives.
I. Go
a. Going with God often means leaving what is comfortable.
b. We can’t walk with God and not walk by faith.
c. Where is God calling us to go?
II. Show
a. Going with God often means going without all the information we would like.
b. We love to walk by sight, but God insistS we walk by faith.
c. Are we willing to follow God to the place he will show us in His time and in His way?
III. Grow
a. Going with God leads to God blessings.
b. As Abram became father Abraham, so the blessings of God grow in our life when we follow our Lord.
c. Are we willing to grow in our faith and “go” to the places in life that God will “show”?
CONCLUSION
Is God calling us to go to a place we may not fully know? Are we willing to walk by faith into God’s future for our lives? Is it time to go to a new place with God?
