This multi sport day is a fantastic opportunity for students with a disability to participate in a range of fun sporting activities and introductory skill sessions designed to develop and enhance sporting skills.
Sports are modified to suit students at all levels including students with a physical, sensory or an intellectual disability.
Sports which may be included in 2016: Swimming, Athletics, Basketball, Tennis, Softball, Cricket, Football, Bocce, Goal Ball
Cost: $8 per student includes lunch. Schools will be invoiced after the event according to attending numbers
Students will be divided into several groups for the activities and will rotate to the various sports offered during the day. Disability toilets are in close proximity to both the swimming and sports activities areas
The Tara parentsare planning an excellent lunch for all attending.Some Tara Students may be assisting on the day.
There will be a photographer in attendance so if you would like any particular photos taken please just request this.
There will be parking available. Students will direct you to parking spots close to the venue.
Please feel free to pass this on to any other schools you feel may be interested in attending. Final details will be sent with sports groups for the day

Indemnity and risk waiver
I agree to my child’s/ward’s attendance at the above mentioned program. In the case of an emergency, I authorise the program staff, where it is impracticable to communicate with me to arrange for my child/ward to receive such medical or surgical treatment as may be deemed necessary. I also undertake to pay or reimburse costs which may be incurred for medical attention, ambulance transport and drugs while my child/ward is enrolled with the program. I understand that although NSW Sport and Recreation and its service providers and Tara Anglican School for Girls attempt to minimise any risk of personal injury within practical boundaries, accidents do happen and all physical activities carry the risk of personal injury. I acknowledge there is an inherent risk of personal injury in physical activities that will be taken as part of the program.
