Eneslow the Foot Comfort Center & MBT Sponsor
Soles4Souls Charity Footwear Drive
On Thursday December 4th 2008, MBT “The Anti-Shoe” and Eneslow the Foot Comfort Center celebrate “The Gift of Giving” at Eneslow’s flagship store located at 470 Park Avenue South @ 32nd Street, NYC.
Admission: gently worn shoes.
MBT and Eneslow join Soles4Souls to alert the community of the unfortunate conditions that exist in our own backyard and how a pair of gently worn shoes can make a difference to someone less fortunate.
Participants are asked to give shoes to those in need. Eneslow will offer $10.00 vouchers to all who donate footwear during the event and 10% of revenues collected will go to Soles4Souls.
From 11AM to 2 PM take a tour of the inner-workings of Eneslow’s on-site Custom Workshop and then attend Eneslow’s Seminar on “Pedorthic Management of Foot Disorders” presented by President and CEO, Robert S. Schwartz.
From 2 to 6 PM join Former Olympian Sharon Seagrave to receive top training tips on the best ways to utilize MBT, The Anti-Shoe. Come in and find out why the anti-shoe is pro-body!
From 6 to 8 PM meet Soles4Souls founder Wayne Elsey and enjoy a performance by Tiffany Johnson and music provided by the Alex Levin trio. Join us for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, a special raffle for a pair of MBT’s and other gifts as well as networking with special celebrity guests.
“For the past two years our customers, friends and family have donated over 25,000 pair of shoes because the idea is so simple: Donate the shoes you never wear,” says Eneslow’s owner Bob Schwartz.
Soles4Souls challenges everyone to raise “50,000 Pairs in 50 Days”. Every person who donates on site will be entered to win a trip to Mexico to hand deliver the shoes they brought to families in need. Imagine handing a child their very first pair of shoes! (For more details please go to http://www.50000shoes.com/)
Shoes may be delivered to Eneslow NYC 470 Park Avenue South @ 32nd Street, NYC, and 254-61 Horace Harding Expressway off L.I.E. exit 32 in Little Neck Queens.
