THE ROLE:

You will own ERS’ marketing communication plan and multi-channeloperation schedule for both internal and external communications, ensuring that the right message, reaches the right people at the right time. You will work with key stakeholders across the business, becoming deeply integrated into the keyprojects that inform your plan and working with the marketing team to execute them, whilst building ERS’ capabilities for continuous improvement as we move to digital automation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the build, development and lifecycle of the external marketing plan and schedule.
  • Ensure the plan is personalised for key audiences and has the capability to flex in response to business change
  • Develop and implement a marketing measurement framework including specific metrics and measurement methods
  • Be the single voice of truth for all external communications and messaging
  • Understand opportunities for cross-sell and upsell of messages for specific products and audiences
  • Full responsibility for message prioritisation across multiple channels
  • Management of internal stakeholders to deliver content on time to achieve the plan
  • Develop a deep integration across the business to understand requirements for external messaging
  • Develop a cycle of continuous communications improvement, building out our automation capabilities across all internal and external communications channels
  • Lead quarterly, biannual and annual planning cycles for marketing and wider business.
  • Development and execution of the internal communications strategy
  • Become the internal communication champion within ERS, driving engagement with internal communications and supporting communication champions across the business

KEY DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTES:

  • Experience in a marketing communications planning role, client-side or agency.
  • Meticulous planning skills
  • Experience of working across digital, advertising, branding, and integrated channels
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • A good understanding of different multi-channel marketing capabilities and what they offer the client and customer, including; search, display, social etc
  • Track record in achieving client business KPI’s directly resulting from marketing activation
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
  • Experience running company-wide internal communications
  • Strong understanding of project management.
  • Ability to move fast and react to the business’ needs
  • Detailed knowledge of current digital marketing trends and best practice
  • Self-motivation and be proactivity
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Some B2B experience valued, but not essential
