INTRODUCTION TO SECURITY
Catalog Description:
51 - Introduction to Security 2 units
Security systems and their uses within our society. Constitutional aspects as well as Federal, State and related laws as they apply to the different agencies responsible for carrying out the systems of security. Various types of devices and locks in security and/or protection. 2 hours.
Expected Outcomes for Students:
Upon completion of the course, the student should be able to:
1. list most of the various types of security systems;
2. understand laws which govern local and private agencies;
3. determine the various types of locking devices.
