The Society: Sociology & Criminology Undergraduate Review

The UTM Sociology & Criminology Society has founded an undergraduate journal titledThe Society: Sociology & Criminology Undergraduate Review. The purpose of the journal is to aggregate and showcase leading scholarship produced by undergraduate students at the University of Toronto, Mississauga campus.We are approaching our second year of running this journal, and as such, we are currently soliciting editors and submissions.
Editors
Students in the Sociology and/or Criminology and Socio-Legal Studies program(s) will be given priority, however students from all fields of study may apply to be an editor. It is recommended that you are at least in your third year of studies. This position requires a high-degree of commitment and you will serve your term as an editor up until the end of the academic year.

We are looking for candidates with:

-Strong writing capabilities

-High academic performance

-A genuine interest in the journal

-Relevant experience is an asset (but not necessary)

(i) a cover letter,
(ii) a completed copy of the application form attached below and,
(iii) a sample of your writing (within the field or Sociology and/or Criminology).

DEADLINE: January 21stst 2018 at 11:59 PM. LATE SUBMISSIONS NOT ACCEPTED.
Should you be hired, your schedules will be considered when deciding a committee meeting time, however there will be a mandatory editing workshop that everyonemustattend.
