New ceramic veneering material for lithium disilicate frameworks:

GC Initial LiSi convinces withhigh aesthetics and durability

For 12 years now, GC has been offering dental technicians high-quality and practical materials with the well-known Initial line that facilitates a broad range of prosthetic restorations. The global dental provider now expands its portfolio with the new veneering ceramic GC Initial LiSi – which was developed particularly for the growing number of lithium disilicate frameworks. With this type of frameworks gaining popularity, GC offers a material for highly aesthetic and durable restorations for long-term patient satisfaction. GC Initial LiSi will be officially unveiled at an exclusive GC press event at IDS 2015.

When it comes to prosthetic solutions, dental laboratories’ expectations are clearlydefined: The result should exhibit natural aesthetics in addition to being durable and comfortable for the patient. This is in keeping with the Japanese company GC’s traditional approach, andespecially the proven ceramic line Initial is regularly expanded by innovative, high-quality materials – such as the stunning new InitialLiSi veneering ceramics.

This new ceramic is the specialized veneering ceramic designed for lithium disilicate frameworks. With this type of frameworks gaining popularity, GC offers now a material for highly aesthetic and durable restorations for long-term patient satisfaction.

Initial LiSi is characterized by a precisely adapted coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE), low firing temperatures and maximum stability even after multiple firings, providing for safe and predictable handling and excellent aesthetics of lithium disilicate frameworks, particularly in terms of their optical dynamics. The new special ceramic veneering can be used both in the individual layering and in the cut-back technique following the proven Initial ceramic concept – one shade system, one layering technique.

The application of Initial LiSi powder is easy to learn and dental technicians as well as patients benefit from its speed, aesthetics and economical aspects. Especially because of the simplicity and secure handling of the powders, Initial LiSi assures a short learning curve – and when needed, full anatomical frameworks could even be improved by staining with the Initial Lustre Pastes NF Gum Shades. From now on, for dental laboratories all around the world Initial LiSi is the perfect choice to master all challenges!
