Crime Watch Report for November 15, 2012 through November 29, 2012

CASE # 12-4057 LARCENYOn Thursday, November 15, 2012, Deputy Martin received a call from a resident of Blazer Road, near Tunnelton, in regards to a larceny complaint. The victim stated that 37 gallons for fuel oil was stolen from his tank.

CASE # 12-1207 HIT-N-RUNOn Sunday, November 18, 2012, Cpl Dotson received a call from a resident of Kanetown Road, near Tunnelton, in regards to a hit-n-run complaint. The victim stated that a red Dodge extended cab pick-up truck had struck and damaged his mailbox. Any witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact Cpl Dotson.

CASE # 12-4088 LARCENYOn Monday, November 19, 2012, Cpl Tichnell responded to a larceny complaint on Mt. Zion Road, near Masontown. A vehicle had been broken into. This is a continuing investigation.

CASE # 12-4102 LARCENYOn Monday, November 19, 2012, Deputy Geisel received a call from a resident of Snake Hill Road, near Masontown, in regards to a larceny complaint. This victim stated that three home-made tripods, used for lifting engines, were stolen from her property.

CASE # 12-4110 LARCENYOn Tuesday, November 20, 2012, DFC Sinclair received a call that a 2008 green Suzuki 4-wheeler had been stolen while it was parked at a hunting cabin on Mountain Run Road, near Terra Alta. Any witnesses are asked to contact DFC Sinclair.

CASE # 12-4140 HIT N RUNOn Wednesday, November 21, 2012, Sgt Root and Deputy Martin responded to a hit-n-run complaint on WV Route 26, north of Tunnelton. The driver of a red Dodge Ram was hit by a green Chevrolet Cavalier and fled the scene. Any witnesses are asked to contact Sgt Root.

CASE # 12-4145 BREAKING AND ENTERINGOn Wednesday, November 21, 2012, Deputies Childers and Lewis responded to Railroad Avenue, in Terra Alta, in regards to a breaking and entering complaint. The victim stated that an old trailer had been broken into. This is a continuing investigation.

CASE # 12-4168 LARCENYOn Saturday, November 24, 2012, DFC Sinclair received a call from Frontier Communications who reported that 225 feet of phone cable had been stolen from Camp Ground Road, near Tunnelton. Any witnesses are asked to contact Deputy Sinclair.

CASE # 12-4169 LARCENYOn Friday, November 23, 2012, Deputy Martin responded to a residence on North Preston Highway, near Bruceton Mills, in regards to a larceny complaint. A generator had been reported stolen. This is a continuing investigation.

CASE # 12-4182 LARCENYOn Sunday, November 25, 2012, DFC Sinclair received a call from a resident of Reedsville who stated that 225 gallons of diesel fuel had been stolen out of a truck that was parked at the old Garage Bay. Any witnesses are asked to contact DFC Sinclair.

CASE # 12-4183 LARCENYOn Sunday, November 25, 2012, Deputies Tichnell and McNair responded to W Depot Way, near Masontown, in regards to a larceny complaint. The victim stated that a Savage 25-06 rifle was stolen from within his vehicle along with his wallet. Any witnesses are asked to contact Deputy Tichnell.

CASE # 12-4184 LARCENYOn Monday, November 26, 2012, Deputies Tichnell and McNair responded to an apartment complex near Reedsville in regards to a larceny complaint. The victim stated that several appliances, toilets, lighting, etc had been stolen from within the apartments. Any witnesses are asked to contact Deputy Tichnell.

CASE # 12-4197 LARCENYOn Tuesday, November 27, 2012, DFC Sinclair received a larceny complaint. The complainant stated that fuel oil had been stolen from the York Run Church near Tunnelton. Any witnesses are asked to contact DFC Sinclair.
