8:45 a.m./ 9:30 a.m. / Wisconsin Title I Schools of Recognition Professional Development Opportunities
Take a few moments from celebrating your school’s award-winning achievement to learn (1) how your school can participate in and benefit from being named or visiting a Spotlight School; (2) how your teachers can travel the world to enhance their knowledge of the subjects they teach or their expertise as Teacher Fellows; or (3) about Schools of Recognition eligibility requirements and criteria used to identify the three types of rewards schools. Space is limited, so each workshop is offered first at 8:45 a.m. and then repeated at 9:30 a.m.
10:15 a.m. / Brunch
Pollo quesadillas ala 優秀校 (Yooshookoh)
A Wisconsin Title I Schools of Recognition reception tradition – chicken and cheese wrapped in a tortilla!

As you walk up Martin Luther King, Jr., Drive, enjoy an impressive view of Wisconsin’s beautiful State Capitol.
12:00 p.m. / Awards Ceremony in the State Capitol Rotunda
On behalf of your school, one designated representative will accept your School of Recognition award. Seating is arranged in alphabetical order by school district and by grade levels (elementary, junior high/middle, and senior high school) within your district. Schools receiving 5-year flags or 10-year banners are seated in the front rows and will receive their awards last.
