All competitors must be members of The Pony Club.

Class 2 must be 8 years or over on the day

RIDING

If anyone wishes to jump a course below their class, they should notify the organiser by 9am on day of the competition. Scoring will be as per the Pony Club Tetrathlon Rules 2016 but see notes below.

Competitors may jump the course below their own but will incur 400 penalties. Competitors may be led in Class 1 but will incur 400 penalties Competitors may be led in Class 2 but will incur 400 penalties

Crash hats must be worn and must bear the CE mark and a quality symbol, either BS kitemark, the SAI Global symbol or the official Snell label. The CE number on its own is not sufficient PASO15:1998 and Snell E2001 are recommended.

Hats must all carry a Pony Club WHITE tag or a BE RED tag. Body Protectors must be worn and must adhere to 2016 rules.

Spurs may only be worn by PC Members who have achieved their B Test and are wearing their felts or those who can produce a signed spur card.

SHOOTING:

Guns must be kept in their cases until the Firing Point Steward gives the order to “unbox” them at the start of a detail, and must be “boxed” again before the competitor leaves the firing point. At all other times guns must be stored in their boxes and locked in a secure place (i.e. in a vehicle out of sight). No person under 18 year of age may be responsible for, or carry a gun.

OBJECTIONS:

Please note that any objections to the scoring for each discipline may only be made by the Team Manager, and within 20 minutes of the scores being displayed.
