POSITION TITLE:Emergency Preparedness / Security / OIMS Technician
Location: Houston
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Security
- Utilize IMPACT to extract / sort Security data
- Utilize Excel to collect and analyze Security data and assist and/or prepare reports ( ad hoc, monthly, quarterly and annually)
- Support Security tools and Templates updates
- Assist with Planning Budgeting data collection, analysis and reporting
- Assist with Annual SSHE Stewardship Report and review
- Develop staff contractor resource and expense reports
- Respond to annual Security Expense Report(SER)
- Provide support in developing and rollout of Site Security Contact Computer Based Training
- Maintain Security SharePoint Team Site
- Support the Information Protection Program by updating Excel as Inspection Reports are generated; collect, trend, and analyze data on a monthly and quarterly basis
Emergency Preparedness and Response (EP&R)
- Report and track the quarterly collection EP&R workbooks from various Project Teams
- Utilize MiR3 to update EMDC Houston contact lists in case of an emergency; conduct periodic tests of callout lists
- Update the Personnel Resilience Database (PRDB) regularly based on personnel changes in the organization
- Prepare presentations for various EP&R training activities
- Maintain EP&R SharePoint Team Site
- Support EP&R tools and templates updates
- Provide technical support for the Business Continuity Plan
- Manage the EMDC Greenspoint Office buildings Fire Warden Network; track and conduct training of Fire Wardens
OIMS
- Utilize SharePoint to manage OIMS Team Site, coordinate OIMS Assessments, etc.
- Manage OIMS Folders and content in SSH&E LAN
- Develop and run periodic IMPACT reports and manage the status of OIMS Assessment Findings
- Prepare OIMS Subcommittee draft package with OIMS Assessment Status for Function and Projects
- Interface with Projects who have outstanding OIMS Findings to get updates on status of closure activities and include in OIMS Subcommittee Reports
- Request OIMS Scorecards from Projects (quarterly), compile into a Functional Workbook, and analyze annually for metrics improvement based on the Projects feedback
- Work with IMPACT team to develop a Project Scorecard in the IMPACT Measures Module and roll out as requested to the Project Teams
- Provide IMPACT training as needed to system users for Security, EP&R, OIMS measures input
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Applicants must possess a University Degree; preference of major in mathematics or engineering
- 5-7 years technical support experience in SSH&E-related positions
- Extensive knowledge of technical support software, spreadsheets, and databases. Applicants must have previous experience in working with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Access); previous experience in working with SharePoint is preferred
- Knowledge / use of IMPACT database is preferred

- High attention to detail and completeness
- Possesses sufficient business acumen to recommend sound business, technical/administrative and cost effective solutions
- Must be willing to travel internationally
