In your correspondence you have requested the information set out below and in what follows I set out the Council’s response:
(1)DETAILS OF REQUEST
Can you please supply me with Clear drawing and explanation of the boundaries of where the market traders can and cannot park, in Berkhamsted. There is a line of brass studs in the pavement are they the set out line? if not what is your policy on Parking in Disabled bays by the Market traders, as they are doing this, this is bullying and discriminatory, and your failure to apply the rulings is criminal negligence,
1: map of permitted set out for the stands
2: limits of where and when they can use disabled bays
3: name of the person in charge of this at the council,
4: name of the person in charge of the market
(2)RESPONSE
The street market in Berkhamsted is not under the control of the local authority; it is managed by the Town Council and operated by a selected partner. The response below has been received from the Town Council.
